G.E.V., Gruppo Escursionisti del Velino (Velino Hiking Group), is an association of volunteers whose purpose is the environmental and hiking enhancement of Mt. Velino, which they have been committed to upgrading and promoting through hiking and trails since 1981.
Inaugurated April 7, Parco delle 5 fonti is the new equipped green area located in Canistro, just a few minutes' drive from Hotel della Piana. It is a new multidisciplinary hiking network, structured for outdoor trekking, cycling and fitness activities. The Slow Trekking network was born from the idea of making the territory of Canistro accessible and easily walkable to everyone, families and hiking lovers, through some of the most characteristic areas, and those with historical and folkloric connotations.
